Some of the best screenshots I think I could build... I drove myself into the ground with pushing my sights to high and I think in the end I made everything worse. But, that in itself is a lesson I should learn from. Know my limits and dont expect everything just to fall over and be so easy.

The final piece - Futuristic Vehicle!
So! After a couple of weeks of back and forth and constant changes to what colours looked best... I think I cracked it, I took the simplistic approach, and I think it paid off!
I wanted to create something that looked both luxurious and something that looked as if it could hold up in the far reaches of space.... I think I created that.
Brief update!
Hello there, I just wanted to throw these in, a rough mock up of the colours and model of the (almost?) finished ship!
What I've got so far !
Gotta keep the mystery alive, so! This is around where I am at the moment, I've never been a very strong modeller but hey, if I've ever made something I didn't think I was capable of, this is it!
I settled on the bottom left version of my worked into designs as it represented the Manta Ray best and from the eyeball of my tutors seemed to have the best silhouette.

We were also given a triangle and vector limit to stick to, which I can't for the life of me actually remember, but here are my statistics to feast your eyes upon.
Scify Modelling!
Coming up to the modelling process we were told to create blueprints for what was to be our ship... They're not blue, and I didn't print them.... But ! .... Aye, here they are.
The Beginning of Design
So, we were given the project to design, model and present our idea's for a futuristic vehicle! .... Not normally my thing! I prefer the organic if I'm going to be perfectly honest.
This was my orginal base concept... And some of it I kept! Most of it I lost in the nether and it should stay there.
However I believe I gave this my best shot... What I wanted to do, was cross reference recent and what is considered futuristic design with that of the natural world. In this particular project, I was inspired by the sea, as when I think futuristic I think space. And nothing represents space that we can even begin to wrap our heads around better than the ocean.
In particular I sought after Manta rays, the way they simply glide through the current inspired the idea for how I thought a futuristic speedster ship would move through the expanse of space and I then began to plot!

How could I effect the initial design with the creature I wished it to be like, first of all the Manta Ray's mouth was a large inspiration for the grill of this machine. ( Logic dictates space machines shouldnt have grills, but meh.) Next the arc of its fins became the next step, how could I make something this organic, rugged, structural and something ultimately the viewer themselves could see themselves piloting.
These were my end designs and as tricky and fiddly as I remember them being to piece together I believe I made three completely viable options. I still don't know which one to pick...
A finished interior
After what seemed like a week of eternity, scrapping my project and starting all over again, I finally began to reach a place I was both happy and comfortable with presenting. It took a lot of trial and error, but I think I eventually got this to a standard worthy of my first year at Uni.
