High Hopes, low base.

I took a bit of time to look back over my work, and I simply feel that the what I had in mind with the Manor is a task that far exceeds what I am capable of at this point in time... Yet! I do want to go back to it once I feel more comfortable in 3ds Max. But for now I have opted to put it away and focus my project on something else.

I was a big fan of the Hannibal series and I want to do my ode towards it, Hannibal's office is what I have in mind. Simple yet complicated, it wont look as it did in the series, doing such would be too easy. So I shall attempt to personify him in my own style.. Hopefully it'l come across like I wish!

First update :-

My First Project

So, our first project is to be created for Uni, and In my mind I have a grand view of what I want to do. It's going to be an old manor, filled with odes to Alice in Wonderland, as if the Manor itself were her Rabbit hole. Maybe you can get a better idea, from these images :-

Odd bits and Sketches

So here I wanted to introduce some of my sketches... I have a lot of idea's circling on what and who I want to do for my character concept, yet I have the feeling it must be based on myself. In which case I may change everything, yet maybe you can see some of my thoughts in these pages. 

Granted! This last one was from a blind drawing class that we were to work into and create what we see inside out scribbles. If I manage to find the original, I will update this post to let you see the difference!

An introduction to my work.

Here is some of the personal stuff I've been working on in the mean time, can only get better from here.

A starting Entry to the beginning of University.

                  I've never been one for writing stuff down, particularly writing about my day to day of my life. Yet I can say I'm rather looking forward to it, I don't know why and I cant say I'll always have much to share, but I'll do my best. However! I can begin to tell you of what I've been doing and what I'm planning for the coming months at St Helens College.

We were given our modules last week, it seems pretty exciting and challenging but I'm looking forward to it all. We've been introduced to 3ds Max and Photoshop, both I'd used previously, so I had a bit of a head start. I've already started modelling the interior of a room, it's one of the modules we've been assigned for our first year. I chose an abandoned manor, split in reality with an Alice in Wonderland twist.. I'm hoping I can pull of the ambition, I'll keep you posted on that though.

I suppose this will have to be the end, we're about to leave the classroom for another induction.

I'll keep this updated as much as possible.
